ERC-404

Overview

The ERC-404 combines the fundamentals of both ERC-20 (decimals) and ERC-721 (visual output) into a monolithic and highly composable token standard.

Xyxyx's tokenization models introduce a fully blockchain-based iteration of the ERC-404 token standard, built with XYXYX as a PoC.

Features

Composability

When built upon the ERC-404, 1x1 and A4-based smart contracts can be seamlessly integrated into any ERC-20 or ERC-721 application (i.e., Uniswap or OpenSea).

Customizability

When built upon the ERC-404, 1x1 and A4-based smart contracts can be highly customizable in defining token economics.

ERC-404-based tokens' economics can range from unique, indivisible items (0 decimals) to widely distributable assets with varying levels of granularity (from 1 to 18 decimals).
