Overview

The ERC-404 token standard combines the fundamentals of both ERC-20 (decimals & fractionalization) and ERC-721 (visual output) into a monolithic and highly composable token standard.

When built upon the ERC-404 standard, 1x1 or A4-based smart contracts can be highly customizable in defining token economics.

ERC-404-based tokens' token economics can range from unique, indivisible items (0 decimals) to widely distributable assets with varying levels of granularity (from 1 to 18 decimals).
